We managed the safety for ComEd's $100M substation rebuild project. We provided audits, assessments, job safety analysis and root cause analysis. In addition we provided electrical and other OSHA training, monitoring and regulatory compliance reporting. There were several subcontractors under the project banner and we were responsible for developing and implementing site specific safety plans for all subcontractors as well.

 

Our consultants worked full time on various ComEd construction sites, identifying potential safety hazards, providing daily safety, health and environmental training, conducting daily hazard assessments, meeting with ComEd Safety Directors and Regulatory Agencies such as OSHA and DOT. We also provided daily reporting to the staff of ABB Power and the ComEd Safety Team.
